1) 適切なPPE(個人防護用具)を常に身につけます。

All of us at RYO DENTAL CLINIC empathetically watching the event as the Japanese government has issued a second State of Emergency on January 8th.-February 7th.2021

We are determined to take thorough preventive measures against the spread of infection and we are implementing it.

Standard universal precautions help protect every patient and RDC team members from the many infectious diseases that we are potentially exposed to on a daily basis.

After every patient’s treatment , every countertop, chair, etc. are wiped down with a powerful medical grade disinfectant, and of course every instrument is sterilized under severe heat and pressure.

This occurs EVERY time you sit in the patient chair. We’ll be raising the standard beyond our typical protocol during this time period of COVID-19.

We’ll be utilizing a higher standard of care in our non-clinical areas such as waiting room, rest rooms, and reception as well.

Updated 2/3/2020

For the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in medical settings,
We sterilize every instruments and dental chairs with every patients, also we always wear mask and gloves for the protection.

For the suspected or confirmed COVID-19, we wear surgical gowns which are used for routine surgical procedures.
While the transmissibility of COVID-19 is not fully understood, gowns are available that protect against microorganisms. The choice of gown should be made based on the level of risk of contamination. Certain areas of surgical and isolation gowns are defined as “critical zones” where direct contact with blood, body fluids, and/or other potentially infectious materials is most likely to occur.

For instrument sterilization, we always use sterilized instrument per patient. Not only dental examination instruments, but also with every instruments we use normally for patients, handpieces, burs are sterilized individually with steam autoclave.

We change gloves with every patient. Every dental care provider should use new gloves for each and every patient. For procedures that are likely to involve splash or spatter, our dental team will also put on a new mask as well as wear protective eyewear and apparel (possibly a surgical gown).
