Same-Day Crowns

The main difference between traditional and same-day crowns is that the latter only requires you to come in for one visit. Your crown will be made on-site while you wait instead of in a dental laboratory by a CEREC ®️ “Primemill”.

The first steps of the Same-day crowns treatment are similar to the traditional crown treatment. We will take a digital impression of your teeth with a 3D scanner “Primescan”, then design your crown on computer screen. This data will get submitted to the CEREC ®️ “Primemill” which will then mill your custom-made porcelain crown.

In the last step, we will glaze the new crown to match the appearance of the surrounding teeth. Once finalized, the crown can be placed on the prepared tooth.

Same-day crowns are a time and price efficient option as you will only have to come to our clinic for a single appointment.

The traditional crown procedure usually takes at least a few weeks from the initial consultation to the permanently placed crown. However, CEREC ®️　Same-Day Crowns can be placed in a single day.

This term is derived from the fact that same-day crowns are made of ceramic, or porcelain to be specific. The procedure is completed in one visit to our clinic and is a cost-effective option.

The Number of Crowns Needed

Naturally, the more crowns you need the higher your overall price will be. Each CEREC ®️crown will drive up the total cost of your procedure, but getting more than one done at a time will save you some time and involve fewer visits to our clinic.

The Average Cost Range

When it comes to getting a CEREC ®️　Same-Day Crown , the cost will range somewhere between ¥80,000.- to ¥250,000.- You may not end up paying any more for a CEREC ®️ crown than a traditional crown. The main difference is that you will save time and money with a same-day crown because you won’t need as many visits to our clinic.

What does the CEREC®️ Same-Day Crowns Process Start ?

The process starts with a visit to our clinic for a consultation. If you are an ideal candidate for the procedure, you will make an appointment to come in and have your crown placed. Computer software is used to create a crown that is the right shape, size, and color to match your natural teeth. The crown is placed that same day and you go home with permanent results.
